The Ping BunkR Wedge is a specialized sand wedge designed to simplify bunker play for golfers who struggle with these shots. Featuring a high loft of 64 degrees, wide sole, and the iconic Eye2-style shaping, the BunkR enables golfers to use a standard, square-faced technique for easy escapes. A generous 14.5 degrees of bounce allows the club to glide effortlessly through the sand, generating increased ball speed for a high launch and quick exit from trouble. The stock wedge build is equipped with Ping's lightweight steel Z-Z115 shaft, featuring a lower balance point for enhanced clubhead feel, and the Ping 360 Dyla-wedge Lite grip, which is ¾-inch longer with a reduced taper, providing golfers with increased versatility and trajectory control by allowing them to choke down on the club.
