Sunday Swing | Keegan Bradley's WITB & Minjee Lee's Major Win

Welcome back to another edition of the Sunday Swing presented by 2nd Swing Golf. This week the PGA Tour’s best headed east to Cromwell, CT and TPC River Highlands for the final signature event of the season, the Travelers Championship.
For U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley, this week was a big one. Bradley has aspirations of playing his way onto the United States team on merit to become a playing captain. The Travelers is also one of Bradley’s favorite events. He’s won this tournament before and with the event near the Boston area, he has the hometown crowd on his side.
This week he played chaser the entire time, despite firing an opening round 6-under 64. His Friday was far from special, battling windy conditions for an even par 70. The big story to this point was the Englishman Tommy Fleetwood, who opened with rounds of 66 and 65. Fleetwood was looking to get the monkey off his back this week by breaking through for his first victory on the PGA Tour. In his career to this point, Fleetwood has finished inside the top-10 41 times without a victory – the most of any player.
On Saturday, Bradley caught fire and made a big move up the leaderboard. His bogey-free round of 63 sent him into a tie for second place by day’s end. The only reason he wasn’t able to take the lead was because Fleetwood kept his foot on the gas as well, matching Bradley’s 63 thanks to five birdies and an eagle. The round was good enough to give Fleetwood a 3-shot cushion after 54 holes, with Bradley, Russell Henley, and a few others chasing his pace.
As the final round began, Fleetwood was shaky out of the gate, opening the door for the guys who started the day a few back. Fleetwood made three bogeys in his first four holes and saw his lead vanish after a front-nine 37. Bradley was able to card 1-under on the front and found himself with a share of the lead with just nine holes to play.
Birdies at the 11th and 13th for Fleetwood gave him his lead back, as Bradley was only able to play the first half of the back nine in even par. A long-range birdie putt on the 15th hole for Bradley kept him in it, and then a bogey by Fleetwood at 16 cut the lead to just one.
It would remain a one-shot cushion as the final group teed off on the 72nd hole, where both players found the fairway. Fleetwood was indecisive in his club selection in the 18th fairway, switching from a 9-iron to a pitching wedge and saw his approach shot come up short of the putting surface. Sensing the opportunity, Bradley hit a beautiful approach that stopped just inside six feet of the hole. A disastrous 3-putt from Fleetwood meant Bradley’s birdie putt would make him the champion if he could hole it – which he did. A two-shot swing on the final hole leaves Fleetwood still searching for that elusive first PGA Tour win, while Bradley’s win moves him up to ninth on the Team USA Ryder Cup points standings.
Winner’s Bag | Keegan Bradley
Call it a trifecta – this is the third consecutive week that a Srixon staffer has won on tour. Not dissimilar from US Open winner JJ Spaun, Bradley’s bag does have a decent mix to it.

Driver: PING G430 LST (10.5 degrees)
Shaft: Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X
Starting with his driver, Keegan games the Ping G430 LST (10.5 degrees) with a Ventus Black 6X. Bradley has used this setup for a few years now, and it helps him earn the reputation as one of the most accurate drivers on tour. For the week, Keegan finished 37th in Strokes Gained off the Tee, and was tied for 28th in accuracy, hitting 37 of 56 fairways.
Fairway Woods: TaylorMade Qi10 HL (16.5 degrees), TaylorMade Qi35 (21 degrees)
Shafts: Aldila Rogue White 130 MSI 70 TX
Bradley’s 3-wood is a TaylorMade Qi10 HL (16.5 degrees) with an Aldila Rogue White 130 MSI 70 TX shaft. Newer to his bag is his TaylorMade Qi35 7-Wood. Bradley had been playing with a Qi10 5-wood earlier this year, but put in a 7-wood recently, while staying with the same shaft as his 3-wood.
Irons: Srixon ZX5 Mk II (3-5), Srixon ZX7 Mk II (6-9), Srixon Z-Forged II (PW)
Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100
Combo sets continue to grow in popularity both on tour and among amateurs. Bradley plays three different models within his set, a testament to what a progressive iron set can provide. His set starts with the Srixon ZX5 MK II (3-5), followed by Srixon ZX7 MK II (6-9), and is completed with a Srixon Z-Forged pitching wedge. All of his irons contain the Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shaft. Of note, Bradley finished the week 11th in strokes gained on approach shots.
Wedges: Cleveland RTZ Tour Rack (52-10 Mid, 56-10 Mid, 58-06 LOW)
Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400
Around the greens is where Bradley thrived this week, finishing 10th in strokes gained: around the green. Bradley has a unique wedge configuration, playing three Cleveland RTZ Tour Rack wedges at 52, 55, and 58 degrees – this includes a 56-degree that is bent to 55. Each wedge is equipped with a Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft.
Putter: Odyssey Ai-One Cruiser Jailbird
Grip: SuperStroke Zenergy WristLock
Throughout his career, Bradley has been a streaky putter. When he’s on, he can beat just about anyone. He finished third in strokes gained putting at the Travelers, en route to the win. He made several key putts on the back nine Sunday, including a 35-footer for birdie and the six-foot clinching putt on the 72nd hole.
Ball: Srixon Z-Star Diamond
Minjee Lee Captures Third Major Title
Minjee Lee outlasted the field at a challenging Field Ranch East to capture the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for her third career Major Championship.
Lee etnered the final round with a four-stroke lead, but quickly saw that lead shrink to two after three bogeys in her opening six holes. But the two-time Major Champion was able to gather herself, and a huge par save at the par 3 13th, followed by back-to-back birdies at 14 and 15 put the tournamnent out of reach, as Lee became just the third Australian woman to capture 3 or more majors.
One of the biggest strides Lee has made in her game from a year ago is on the putting surface. In her two previous Majors, the 2021 Evian and the 2022 U.S. Women's Open, Lee used a traditional putter, but after struggling on the greens for the majority of the last two seasons, Lee, with some advice from her coach, switched into a long putter this year, playing the Odyssey Ai-One Cruiser 7 CS. That switch has paid off as Lee has improved to 5th in Strokes Gained Putting on the LPGA Tour, and led the field in putting en route to her KPMB Women's PGA Championship win.
With her KPMG Women's PGA Championship victory, Lee is now just one win away from completing the LPGA-recognized Career Grand Slam (four out of five) and two away from the the actual slam.
